 Earning Hard Work

The blacksmith had only one son, but he was very lazy. He would spend the whole day wandering. Time passed but the blacksmith's son did not change. As long as the father was working, he lived comfortably. Then time made him old and life became difficult. One day the blacksmith addressed his wife in the world of troubles. Even now, if it doesn't work, then where did we eat it? I have become old and helpless, nothing happens to me, but there is still time, to tell him to learn some work and earn money. Start working from today, otherwise, life has become very difficult. When the blacksmith finished his speech, his wife became upset.

She knew in that look that his son was not capable of doing anything. Making money was a long way off. After thinking about it, he gave a coin to his son in solitude and told him to spend most of the day outside. When he returned home in the evening, he gave the coin to his father. The father has come to know the truth. The next day, the mother gave her son a coin and said, "Get out of the house and run all day. You will have fatigue on your face in the evening, then your father will be convinced that you have earned this coin by your hard work."

The son did the same and in the evening handed the coin to the father. He twisted the coin in his fingers for a few moments. He also threw it on the stove and spoke harshly. You tried to deceive me again, this coin is not for your hard-earned money. The mother realized that her son had to do something. Because when the father threw the coin into the fire, there were no signs of distress on the son's face. If he had earned this coin from his hard-earned money, he would have been upset. You can't fool your father, don't hurt him anymore.

To find a job, it doesn't matter how much money you earn, whatever you earn, give it to your father and tell him that you are standing on your own two feet. The son left quietly and worked in different places throughout the week. When he collected some money from his hard work, he brought it to his father.

The father took the coins in his hand and turned them and then threw them in the fire and said. I can't believe that these are your earnings.

When the son heard this, he moved towards the fire and spoke angrily. What did you do? I worked all week from morning till evening, collected this money and you threw it in the fire. The father looked at his son and smiled. Now I am convinced that you have earned the coins by your own hard work, the coins which you got without any hard work, you did not have any problem by throwing them in the fire, but for the sake of the coins earned by your hard work, you put your hand in the fire. Now I am not ashamed of my son but I am proud of him because he has started working hard.

محنت کی کمائی

لوہار کا ایک ہی بیٹا تھا لیکن وہ بہت سست تھا۔ سارا دن آوارہ گردی میں گزار دیتا۔ وقت گزرتا گیا لیکن لوہار کا بیٹا نہ بدلا۔ جب تک والد کام کرتے رہے، آرام سے رہتے تھے۔ پھر وقت نے اسے بوڑھا کر دیا اور زندگی مشکل ہو گئی۔ ایک دن لوہار نے پریشانی کے عالم میں اپنی بیوی سے مخاطب ہو کر کہا۔ اب بھی اگر یہ کام نہیں کرتا تو ہم نے کہاں کھایا؟ میں بوڑھا اور بے بس ہو گیا ہوں، مجھے کچھ نہیں ہوتا، لیکن ابھی بھی وقت ہے، اس سے کہو کہ کوئی کام سیکھ لے اور پیسے کمائے۔ آج سے کام شروع کر دیں ورنہ زندگی بہت مشکل ہو گئی ہے۔ لوہار نے اپنی بات ختم کی تو اس کی بیوی پریشان ہو گئی۔

وہ اس انداز میں جانتی تھی کہ اس کا بیٹا کچھ کرنے کے قابل نہیں ہے۔ پیسہ کمانا بہت دور کی بات تھی۔ کچھ سوچ کر اس نے تنہائی میں اپنے بیٹے کو ایک سکہ دیا اور کہا کہ دن کا بیشتر حصہ باہر گزارے، شام کو جب وہ گھر واپس آیا تو اس نے سکہ اپنے والد کو دیا۔ باپ کو حقیقت کا پتہ چل گیا ہے۔ اگلے دن ماں نے اپنے بیٹے کو ایک سکہ دیا اور کہا کہ گھر سے نکلو اور سارا دن بھاگو، شام کو تمہارے چہرے پر تھکاوٹ ہو گی تو تمہارے باپ کو یقین ہو جائے گا کہ یہ سکہ تم نے اپنی محنت سے کمایا ہے۔ مشکل کام."

بیٹے نے بھی ایسا ہی کیا اور شام کو سکہ باپ کو دے دیا۔ اس نے چند لمحوں کے لیے سکہ اپنی انگلیوں میں گھما لیا۔ اس نے اسے بھی چولہے میں پھینکا اور سخت لہجے میں بولا۔ تم نے مجھے پھر سے دھوکہ دینے کی کوشش کی، یہ سکہ تمہاری محنت کی کمائی کا نہیں ہے۔ ماں کو احساس ہوا کہ اس کے بیٹے کو کچھ کرنا ہے۔ کیونکہ جب باپ نے سکہ آگ میں پھینکا تو بیٹے کے چہرے پر پریشانی کے آثار نہیں تھے۔ اگر اس نے یہ سکہ اپنی محنت کی کمائی سے حاصل کیا ہوتا تو وہ پریشان ہو جاتا۔ تم اپنے باپ کو بے وقوف نہیں بنا سکتے، اسے مزید تکلیف نہ دو۔

جاکر نوکری تلاش کرو، اس سے کوئی فرق نہیں پڑتا کہ تم کتنے پیسے کماؤ، جو بھی کماؤ، اپنے باپ کو دو اور اسے بتاؤ کہ تم اپنے دونوں پاؤں پر کھڑے ہو۔ بیٹا خاموشی سے چلا گیا اور ہفتہ بھر مختلف جگہوں پر کام کرتا رہا۔ جب اس نے اپنی محنت سے کچھ رقم جمع کی تو وہ اپنے والد کے پاس لے آیا۔ باپ نے سکے ہاتھ میں لے کر پلٹے اور پھر آگ میں پھینکتے ہوئے کہا۔ میں یقین نہیں کر سکتا کہ یہ آپ کی کمائی ہیں۔ بیٹا یہ سن کر آگ کی طرف بڑھا اور غصے سے بولا۔ تم نے کیا کیا؟ میں نے سارا ہفتہ صبح سے شام تک کام کیا، یہ رقم جمع کی اور تم نے اسے آگ میں پھینک دیا۔ باپ نے بیٹے کی طرف دیکھا اور مسکرا دیا۔

اب مجھے یقین ہو گیا ہے کہ آپ نے یہ سکے اپنی محنت سے کمائے ہیں، جو سکے آپ کو بغیر کسی محنت کے ملے ہیں، آپ کو انہیں آگ میں پھینکنے سے کوئی پریشانی نہیں ہوئی، بلکہ آپ کی محنت سے کمائے گئے سکوں کی خاطر۔ آگ میں ہاتھ ڈالنے کا کام۔ گریز نہیں کیا۔ اب مجھے اپنے بیٹے پر شرم نہیں آتی لیکن مجھے اس پر فخر ہے کیونکہ اس نے محنت شروع کر دی ہے۔
