"Anam, Anam daughter! Why aren't you answering?" Said Amy as she entered Anam's room. And there is a torn copy. Dear children, do you know who Anam is and why she is crying? Anam was a very good and intelligent girl. She came first in every class. Even today her fourth class exams were being held and tomorrow she has a math paper and she was preparing her paper very hard.

She had prepared all the questions but some of the last questions were not understood. She tried hard to understand by herself but still did not understand. She angrily tore her practice copy and threw the pen down. When her mother came to Anam's room to give her milk, She saw that Anam was sitting on the bed, her copy was torn. She asked why.

Anam told her the whole story. Her mother explained to Anam that Allah Almighty has made the elders to help and guide the children. Therefore, whenever there is any misunderstanding, they should seek help from their elders. Anam was very happy to hear this and sat down with her mother with a copy and pen. She easily explained all the questions to Anam. That is why it is said that we should respect our elders.

"انعم، انعم بیٹی! تم جواب کیوں نہیں دے رہی ہو؟" امی نے انعم کے کمرے میں داخل ہوتے ہوئے کہا۔ اور ایک پھٹی ہوئی کاپی ہے۔ پیارے بچو کیا آپ جانتے ہیں کہ انعم کون ہے اور کیوں رو رہی ہے؟ انعم بہت اچھی اور ذہین لڑکی تھی۔ وہ ہر کلاس میں اول آتی تھی۔ آج بھی اس کے چوتھی جماعت کے امتحان ہو رہے تھے اور کل اس کا ریاضی کا پرچہ ہے اور وہ بہت محنت سے اپنا پیپر تیار کر رہی تھی۔

وہ تمام سوالات تیار کر چکی تھی لیکن آخری سوالات میں سے کچھ سمجھ نہیں آئے تھے۔ اس نے خود کو سمجھنے کی بہت کوشش کی لیکن پھر بھی سمجھ نہ آئی۔ اس نے غصے سے اپنی پریکٹس کاپی پھاڑ دی اور قلم نیچے پھینک دیا۔ جب اس کی ماں انعم کے کمرے میں اسے دودھ دینے آئی تو دیکھا کہ انعم بستر پر بیٹھی تھی، اس کی کاپی پھٹی ہوئی تھی۔ اس نے پوچھا کیوں؟

انعم نے اسے ساری کہانی سنائی۔ اس کی والدہ نے انعم کو سمجھایا کہ اللہ تعالی نے بزرگوں کو بچوں کی مدد اور رہنمائی کے لیے بنایا ہے۔ اس لیے جب بھی کوئی غلط فہمی ہو تو اپنے بزرگوں سے مدد لینی چاہیے۔ انعم یہ سن کر بہت خوش ہوئی اور کاپی اور قلم لے کر ماں کے پاس بیٹھ گئی۔ اس نے آسانی سے انعم کو سارے سوال سمجھائے۔ اسی لیے کہا جاتا ہے کہ ہمیں اپنے بڑوں کا احترام کرنا چاہیے۔
