Tunku was a very mischievous child. Every little one in the school and the neighborhood was tired of his mischief. He used to bully even speechless animals. Mother and Abu would explain to him, but Tunku would not stop. Today, when he teases his younger sister Nazia. As he was doing it, he pushed Tunku in anger. Tunku fell to the floor and started crying loudly. This is how he was proving himself to be oppressed and innocent. Hearing his crying, his grandmother came out of her room and asked why he was crying, Tunku lied to himself. Proved innocent. Grandmother believed her and scolded Nazia and left.

Nazia was a good and sensible girl, she kept quiet and told the truth to Ammi. In the evening, when Tinko went out of the house into the street, he suddenly saw a cat passing by with her two cubs. Seeing this, Tunku's eyes sparkled mischievously. He quickly picked up stones from the ground and started hitting the cat, two or four stones hit the cat and one stone also hit the little cat, so all three of them ran away in fear. Today Tunku was very happy with his achievement. He returned home and after drinking, tea went out again after a while. Abu immediately took him to the hospital and bandaged him. Tunku realized his mistake. After coming home, he said to Ammi, "You were right. Today I stoned the speechless cat and her children." ٹنکو بڑا شرارتی بچہ تھا۔ اسکول اور محلے کا ہر چھوٹا بڑا اس کی شرارتوں سے تنگ تھا۔ وہ بے زبان جانوروں کو بھی دھمکاتا تھا۔ امی اور ابو اسے سمجھاتے مگر ٹنکو باز نہ آتا۔ آج جب وہ اپنی چھوٹی بہن نازیہ کو چھیڑتا ہے۔ کرتے کرتے اس نے غصے سے ٹنکو کو دھکا دیا۔ ٹنکو فرش پر گر کر زور زور سے رونے لگا۔ اس طرح وہ اپنے آپ کو مظلوم اور بے گناہ ثابت کر رہا تھا۔ اس کے رونے کی آواز سن کر اس کی دادی اپنے کمرے سے باہر آئیں اور رونے کی وجہ پوچھی تو ٹنکو نے خود سے جھوٹ بولا۔ بے گناہ ثابت ہوئے۔ دادی نے اس کی بات مان لی اور نازیہ کو ڈانٹا اور چلی گئیں۔

نازیہ اچھی اور سمجھدار لڑکی تھی، اس نے چپ کر کے امّی کو سچ بتا دیا۔ شام کو جب ٹنکو گھر سے باہر گلی میں گئی تو اچانک اس نے ایک بلی کو اپنے دو بچوں کے ساتھ گزرتے دیکھا۔ یہ دیکھ کر ٹنکو کی آنکھیں شرارت سے چمک اٹھیں۔ اس نے جلدی سے زمین سے پتھر اٹھا کر بلی کو مارنا شروع کر دیا، دو چار پتھر بلی کو لگے اور ایک پتھر چھوٹی بلی کو بھی لگا تو وہ تینوں ڈر کر بھاگ گئے۔ امی نے اسے کئی بار سمجھایا تھا۔ کہ آپ بے زبان جانوروں کو تنگ نہ کریں، اللہ رب العزت کو یہ پسند نہیں، لیکن ٹنکو کو یہ باتیں کہاں سمجھ آئی۔

آج ٹنکو اپنی کامیابی سے بہت خوش تھا۔ وہ گھر واپس آیا اور چائے پی کر تھوڑی دیر بعد پھر باہر نکل گیا۔ اس نے ابھی گلی میں قدم رکھا ہی تھا کہ ایک تیز رفتار سائیکل کی زد میں آکر وہ زمین پر گر گیا۔ اس کے ہاتھ پاؤں زخمی ہوگئے اور زخموں سے خون بہنے لگا۔ ٹنکو اذیت سے رو رہا تھا۔ اس میں سائیکل سوار کا قصور نہیں تھا بلکہ ٹنکو کا قصور تھا۔ وہاں موجود لڑکے اسے اٹھا کر گھر لے گئے۔ ٹنکو کو اپنی ماں کے وہ الفاظ یاد آئے جو اسے بے زبان جانوروں کو اذیت دینے سے منع کرتے تھے۔

ابو اسے فوراً ہسپتال لے گئے اور پٹی باندھ دی۔ ٹنکو کو اپنی غلطی کا احساس ہوا۔ گھر آ کر اس نے امّی سے کہا کہ آپ نے ٹھیک کہا، آج میں نے گونگی بلی اور اس کے بچوں کو سنگسار کر دیا۔ اس نے مجھے بددعا دی ہوگی اور یہ اس کی سزا ہے۔ ماں نے پیار سے ٹنکو کے سر پر ہاتھ رکھ کر کہا بیٹا! اگر آپ کو اپنی غلطی کا احساس ہو تو توبہ کریں اور آئندہ ایسا کام نہ کرنے کا وعدہ کریں۔ اللہ بہت مہربان ہے اور توبہ کرنے والوں کو بخش دیتا ہے۔" وہ ٹھیک تھا. ٹنکو نے سچے دل سے توبہ کی اور امی سے وعدہ کیا کہ وہ کبھی کسی کو تکلیف نہیں دے گا۔
