Bird's Three Advice

A man set a trap to catch a bird. Coincidentally, a bird got caught in it and the hunter caught it. The bird told him. Man, it! You eat a lot of deer, goats, chickens, etc. What is my reality compared to these things? There is a little flesh in my body, what will happen to you? It won't even fill your stomach. But if you set me free I will give you three pieces of advice which will be very useful for you to follow. I will give you one of these tips right now. The other is when you leave me and I will sit on the wall. Then I will give the third and last piece of advice when I will sit on the branch of the tree in front of the wall. Curiosity arose in the heart of this person about whether he should give useful advice or not.

دوسرا یہ کہ جب تم مجھے چھوڑ دو گے اور میں دیوار پر بیٹھ جاؤں گا۔ پھر تیسرا اور آخری مشورہ تب دوں گا جب میں دیوار کے سامنے درخت کی شاخ پر بیٹھوں گا۔ اس شخص کے دل میں تجسس پیدا ہوا کہ وہ مفید مشورہ دے یا نہ دے۔ اس نے پرندے کی بات مانتے ہوئے اس سے پوچھا۔ تم مجھے پہلے نصیحت کرو پھر میں تمہیں چھوڑ دوں گا۔ تو پرندے نے کہا۔ میرا پہلا مشورہ یہ ہے کہ "ایسی افواہوں پر یقین نہ کریں جو سچ نہیں بن سکتیں۔" سن کراس آدمی نے پرندے کو چھوڑ دیا اور اس کے سامنے دیوار پر بیٹھ گیا۔

میری دوسری نصیحت "جو کچھ ہو چکا ہے اس پر پچھتاوا نہ کرو" اس نے کہا۔ اے نیک انسان تو نے مجھے چھوڑ کر بہت بڑی غلطی کی ہے۔ کیونکہ میرے پیٹ میں پتھری بہت نایاب ہے۔ اگر تم مجھے ذبح کر کے اس موتی کا کنکال میرے پیٹ سے نکال لیتے تو تم اسے بیچ کر اتنی دولت حاصل کر لیتے کہ تم بہت بڑے رئیس بن جاتے۔ اسے اس شخص کی بات سن کر افسوس ہوا۔ اور اسے افسوس ہوا کہ اس نے پرندے کو چھوڑ کر اپنی زندگی کی سب سے بڑی غلطی کی ہے۔ اگر میں نہ چھوڑتا تو میری زندگی بہتر ہوتی۔ چڑیا نے اسے ایسا سوچتے دیکھا اور درخت کی شاخ پر بیٹھ کر بولی۔

اے نیک آدمی! میں نے ابھی آپ کو پہلا مشورہ دیا ہے جس پر آپ بالکل بھی یقین نہ کرنا بھول گئے ہیں۔ لیکن آپ نے مجھے باور کرایا ہے کہ میں ایک شکاری پرندہ ہوں، میرے پیٹ میں ایک پاؤنڈ پاخانہ ہے۔ کیا یہ ممکن ہے؟ دوسرا مشورہ جو میں نے آپ کو دیا تھا، مجھے غلط مت سمجھو۔ لیکن دوسری نصیحت نے کام نہیں کیا اور مجھے اتنا دکھ ہوا کہ میں نے اسے جانے دیا۔ آپ کو کوئی مشورہ دینا بیکار ہے۔ آپ نے میری پہلی دو نصیحتوں پر کب عمل کیا کہ آپ تیسرے پر عمل کریں گے؟ تم نصیحت کے لائق نہیں ہو۔ یہ کہہ کر پرندہ دوبارہ اڑ کر ہوا میں اڑ گیا۔ آدمی وہیں کھڑا، سوچ میں گم، پرندے کی باتوں پر غور کرتا رہا۔

خوش نصیب ہیں نصیحت پانے والے۔ ہم اکثر اپنے مخلص ساتھیوں اور بزرگوں کی نصیحت پر کان نہیں دھرتے اور اس سے ہمارا نقصان ہوتا ہے۔ یہ نکات صرف کہنے کے لیے الفاظ نہیں ہیں بلکہ حکمت اور دوسروں کے تجربات سے حاصل کردہ انمول اثاثہ ہیں۔
